Email from the Classifications Board - 4th November, 2011

We would be pleased if you would advise your members and suppliers of amusement arcade games that the Classifications Markings Generator is now available to download from our website.  We hope you and your members find this tool useful

The Classification Markings Generator has been simplified to assist industry to display the classification markings, including the relevant consumer advice, on product and advertising material.

It is hoped that by providing this easy to use Classification Markings Generator,  industry will provide timely classification information to assist consumers to make an informed choice about which films or computer games they choose to view or purchase  and play.  While the Check the Classification (CTC) advertising message can be used for those products that are awaiting classification, the Classification Marking Generator will create a marking once a film or computer game is classified that can be displayed on product and advertising.

The Classification Markings Generator is available for both Macintosh and PC platforms and can produce high resolution markings for DVD or computer game slicks, web based advertising, posters, flyers and other advertising material.

Please note that final marking production can vary depending on printer settings and operating systems and you may need to scale your print accordingly.  Plain English instructions are included in the software and may be printed to assist you in its use.
